Impossible! Seriously! Maybe it only exists in th Garden of Eden and Heaven. GENETIC ENGINEERING? I would want to have bigger eyes! Definetely! Ears maybe, so that I can have perfect pitch. ok, but I dno whether the shape or yr ears is linked to whether you have perfect pitch. O.O And of course have smarter genes. But who are we to play the role of God? God is the creator of all things. :D Then again, since I am not genetically modified. I should stop comparing myself with others. because 人比人气死人. God created me in his image. So be satisfied with what I have. Since I'm not natuarlly smart, I guess the only way to compensate to to work harder. I camped infront of my lappy from 8-9 Zzzz..... Was counting down to 8.00 pm So excited can! Cos I really wanted to sign up for the chef course. Most of my class girls also.... but den everyone realised that we all cannot sign up The system keep showing that "registration not open yet" Goodness! Wth! The school only opens the system at 9.00 but by the time I tried. the chef course by Ms.lai and my GP tutor alr no more vacancies le! Totally wasted my time. *sobs* The compass teacher was saying during briefing that from her experience, all the popular courses would be snatched up within an hour. But from my experience, they are snatched up within a MINUTE can! typical kiasu singaporean lar. So I joined the photog course with kaini, Jo and xueli. luckily still got vacanies sia. And the page load very slow. I seriously think the whole J2 population is online trying to sign up for the compass elective from 8-9 lo. Totally agree with natalie. That pen and paper is much better lo. -.- ~ And because of the need to sign for for the course I wanted. I'm like finally online on a school night. And blogging somemore. Lol! ~ Today after physics lect the J1 had a demo lect on H2 econs. They were alr crowding outside even before our physics lect ended. Den when the econs tutor asked the J2s to leave by the back, WOW! everybody immediately stood up and squeeze out from the front. Wlao, damn funny can! ~ Just wanted to blog about the signing up for compass electives. Time to get back to my big fat pile of homework. Starting with halogen tut first.   Although I do seem happy all the time. (I wish) Typically emo isint exactly a word to describe me. But the 2 pictures above completely describe how I feel. (btw, took this 2 pictures from the secret postcard book which mayves lend me last year.) Ok lar, I know mj dun have 9898 students but still.... That sense of loneliness sets in time and time again. Haiz. In a class of 25 people, I have never felt more alone. I feel out of place in a class of 25 ppl. I'm really thankful for natalie, tucky and her class girls. Xueli, jackpang, altone girls and guitar peeps. Plus the bunch of ppl I see in the morning if I come to sch early. Seeing them around in school brightens up my day :D Seriously w/o them I dno what to do! ~ School starting to be busy. Guitar practices are getting more intensive. Mr. L coming twice a week. Sectionals twice a week. No more slacking time playing pop songs. I really hope that our hard work will pay off eventually. Luckily our syf reh doesnt clashes with our block test. ~ Although guitar getting more intensive, but still must relax after practicing hard. So, right now printing nice chinese songs with easy chords that we know how to play. Links on Joanna's blog. And I realise that for chinese songs. The chords can be quite common and repetitive and easy to strum. However, for english songs, the chords are damn chim and difficult to learn. Like how we still havent manage to perfectly play PERFECT bySIMPLE PLAN. Even after trying so many times. Always stuck halfway. T_T And I know how to read tabs le! Finally! But I think I prefer reading scores. ~ There are 800plus new Jc1. 878 to be precise. And waikhee is one of them heh. Hope they enjoy orientation next week. But it was nice having the school to ourselves for 1 whole month. Considering that mj isnt very big. (+) Morning before assembly atrium/study room/study benches not crowded. (+) Recess dun needa queue at canteen when buying food. Got space to sit at canteen. can put bags at one benches and eat at another. (+) Toliets not crowded. Dun needa queue. And changing for pe is easier. (+)Library not crowded. Still got space to put bags into shelves. Normally the bags will just spill over to the floor. (+)Dun needa queue long at the photocopy shop when collecting notes. (+)Dun needa squeeze out of the LT with the J1s pushing their way in and vice versa. (+)The LT seats will be hot. Seriously hate sitting on hot seats. I think LT4 will be in use every single period le! Ok lar, I just dun like to be in crowded places have to squeeze here squeeze there. And having to queue for every single thing from buying food to collecting notes to going toliets. ~ HAPPY NIU YEAR! Bit late but nvrm. CNY was alright. As usual lo. Visited paternal side on chu yi. And maternal side on chu er. Weekend gonna visit family friends. Eat, chat, played. Gambled a lil bit. like 10 cents/20 cents at most 50cents. Always play "IN BETWEEN" Have been playing this game since sec 1? Anybody knows how to play? Quite exciting heh. Doesnt mattter who wins as long as everyone have fun. Usually the younger lil cousins will win. Let them happy lo. Won dai di for quite a few rounds but never play money. ~ Cant rmb what exactly happen over this 2 weeks. 3 tests in a week! OMG! ~ First day-Monday: WHEEE! we missed one pe lesson cos pe falls on mon first period but we had admin briefing with our CT. Ms.wong gave some prep talk. yeah, "NEVER SAY DIE ATTITUDE" Soemthing that I must constantly remind myself. Cos everytime I will just go CHAM LE whenever there is tests or wadeva rubbish coming up. And and my first maths test of the year was pretty screwed. couldnt draw the graph for f '(x) and couldnt differentiate some other rubbish equations. WaiKhee called during my lunch break to tell me her results (: Her L1R5 same as mine HeeheeXD CONGRATS my dear waikhee! See you in mj! :D Join guitar? =p ~ Second day-Tuesday: During GP, tried my first alvl cambridge paper. Pretty tough, some of the qns were not the typical qn. Thou ms.yong said that the paper was one of the easiest. T.T Didnt finish my Summary and AQ. And I just realised that we were supposed to summarise from paragraph2 and 5 instead of paragraph 2 to 5. I was frantically looking for points to summarise in para 3 and 4 but couldnt find any. By the time I reach para 5, times up alr. And I only realised it when ms.yong went thru the paper the next day. Took phy mcq test, thought it was pretty alright. couldnt do some qns as usual but nvrm lar. After school ate dinner with kaini at ws library. Saw xueli and eunice there too. Talked about loads of stuff, felt much better. We shall see how things turn out huh. Chat for super long and left ws at 7 plus. ~ Third Day: School starts at 915. Lessons offically starts at 935. Was supposed to meet joanna and irene at 8 for breakfast at elias mall. But but, I overslept and woke up and 8! by the time I got ready to leave hse, already 830, so I decided to straightaway go sch and open guitar room. Hahas! kaini also nvr turn up cos she overslept too. Lessons starts at 935 and we had 5 periods consecutive w/o any breaks. So I was seriously starving by the time the last period ended. Lunched with classmates before gng for guitar. Ate chai fan but still felt hungry so bought another plate of cheese fries. Should have shared wih joanna instead of buying one each cos we were really full by the time we finished. Guitar was fun as usual! (: Practised syf songs for a lil while den we all got bored so we started to play pop songs. Ahahas! Damn fun can. Played some other songs too. Till king came in den we hurry up started playing from bar147. And the best thing was that we all could play :D Locked up guitar room as usual and walked out of school with the guitar peeps. ~ Fourth Day-Thursday: School as usual. Chem test was.... Zzzz. Still cant do eqm qns lar. better buck up! Compass was quite inspiring. Dr.William Tan came down to give motivational speech. Vidu gave the intro and ending speech and she was great! :D First time hearing him speak and the main take away point was the 4Ds. Thou ladyluck may sometimes play a part in determining yr life. Ultimately it depends on whether you have the burning, intense DESIRE to succeed, make your DECISION right now, this very moment. I'm a pretty fickle-minded person yea. Still having doubts whether I made the right choice by keeping 4H2, maybe I should have drop phy to H1.... Haiya, some decisions are really hard to make like..... Have the DETERMINATION to persist and persevere no matter how hard the circumstances are. And lastly have the DISCIPLINE and stay focus throughout the course of the year. Gentle reminder to self: stop ponning morning run. Really hope that I will have the discipline to study finish for tests, stop falling asleep at night before I could even look at my notes. Have the discipline to go for morning run! Have the discipline to wake up early to have my QT. Cos I find that mornings are the best time of the day. where you are most awake/alert and you should give yr best to God. Instead of at night, where you are already very sleepy and reading the bible/qt material like some bedtime story and falling asleep while reading. PE was last period and slack at canteen after pe with natalie, xueli, kaini and tuckheng. Talked crap and played some hand game. HeeheeXD all of ur very lack de lar. Bus-ed home. Thank you girls for pei-ing me to take bus 3 :) Rmb next thursday go out for dinner aft pe :D (kinda defeats the purpose of pe huh?) ~ Fifth day-Friday: Super short day, only 4 periods of lessons. Ended school at 1205. Went home after maths lecture cos I wasnt feeling well. Took medicine and slept for the rest of my afternoon until dinner time. Took medicine at night again and felt much better today. ~ So that pretty sums up my week. Changed econs and chem tutor. No comments -.- and hopefully the rest of the term/year will go pass smoothly :) p/s: I really hope that everything will turn out alright yea. p/p/s: I just want things to remain the same. But....  HAPPY BIRTHDAY YILIN :)Here's a bd cake for you (It's last year cake btw) Presenting to you our presidential candidate, giving her victory speech!  And we all joined in. After the beach we went to the strawberry garden.YUMMY!  Somehow, we were caught for picking strawberries illegally. T.T "WANTED"  but we escaped and went swimming again. and and we almost drowned. Gave yilin and natalie their christmas present :)   Sinfonique 08 !Yilin's concert some time back, 31 oct if I'm not wrong. NYP campus is pretty huge. But didnt have time to explore the place lar. Hahas! eating at ws library cafe before heading off to changi to blade. Cos I was listening to her say something and I cant multi task so I was in this position fro a pretty long time. lol. We wanted to wear the same tee, but then her red tee too faded alr, so cnt wear out and my grey tee the ends split so cnt wear out also. Hahas! but red and grey is a nice colour combi lo.  At changi beach.Blading was quite fun :D Thou I keep on resting, cos my legs very suan mah T.T  The weather was good. Very relaxing :)  And we started drawing on the sand heh. I love you too <3Met up again cos I needed waikhee to pei me go queenstown there to make shirt for my 2 lovely ladies. The mrt map she printed was quite useful, but I shant reveal here why we needed the map. Dui lian si le! Bought quite alot of stuff. Yah! both of us bought volleyballs :) Her's the normal blue, yellow and white striped. Mine is green, orange and red striped. Pretty! used my ball for the first time duirng 114 bbq at pasirris park. Was supposed to meet germaine and dorcas for dinner on fri but dorcas cant cos she still got school and need to rush project. Jiayous for all upcoming projects and exams:) And germaine is gonna start work at taka fron 27noc onwards, so would be pretty hard to meet up. But the tentative date set is 15dec2008 cos germaine dun need to work on that day and dorcas starts her hols that week :) hopefully can meet up :) p/s this photo was taken on 7nov(germaine's bd)  Was also supposed to meet nato and yilin too, but natalie, this troublesome girl cant make it on the 21nov cos she got some bio related talk to attendso I guess we would have to set a date around the 3rd week of dec after yilin finishes her sem exams and where her hols start. p/s and this photo was taken on one of our outings to parkway.

life after promos are pw and guitar and some other random stuff. yes angeline, we must go for breakfast at elias mall someday. sorry that I woke up late during the many times that we planned to meet up b4 sch :( I wanna eat roti prata =P So today went sch for op and headed to ws for lunch. Lunched at bk =X Saw nato, tuckheng and joanne at cavana. And I think I will still eat at cavana even after what nato told me about what they saw there. heehee XD oya, took nato's paper home and tried out the questions. Personally, I think that paper 2 is quite tough. but paper 1 compo questions are alright. Bused back to sch and practice op for one more time. And went to watch hsm3 at Ehub! with Alyss, Irene, He bei, Sherli, You Jie and Max. while waiting for the movie to start, we played a game of bridge. YAHHH! ME AND SHELI WON YOUJIE AND MAX. :D It's damn tough to win youjie/max unless you partner them. but den we were told that we cnt play cards at the wadeva place we were sitting, so we only played one game. Was on msn having pbl discussion, but it wasnt very productive leh. lol~ mak,you jie, shi min and vidu were in the convo even thou they werent in our grp. The discussion ended soon. So I talk to yilin online for a long long time XD and we video conference :) Guess wad we did? She played her violin and I played my guitar. and both of us played together, I think it sounds A.W.E.S.O.M.E and I got my mama to watch us "perform". She said we were not bad leh. We played simple songs that both of us know the tune to, like twinkle little star, ode to joy, canon in d, guang huai fang shi. And the feeling was wonderful, both of us enjoyed it very much (: F.A.N.T.A.B.U.L.O.U.S sunday afternoon. and we talk abt loads of stuff, ok mostly yilin talked and I listened luh, but it was still great :) LOVE YE LOADS ADD OIL FOR YOUR SEM EXAMS.
